Donor Drive is an online peer-to-peer fundraising portal that is an extension of our organization. Each dancer has a customizable page that keeps track of his or her fundraising progress throughout the year. You can share the link to your personal page through email or on social media, and your friends and family can donate to you directly. It’s that easy! After you register for VictorThon 2018, you can log into your page by clicking the Donor Drive link at dmum.org or visiting dmum.donordrive.com/event/DMUM18. Sign in on the left hand side and click “Edit Your Page” on the right hand side to get started!

How to register for Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan

  1. Go to http://dmum.donordrive.com/
  2. On the homepage, scroll down and click on the green link that says “DANCERS REGISTER FOR DMUM 2017 - 2018 HERE!”
  3. Follow the prompts for registering.
    1. Please pay the $40 registration fee at the time of registration by entering in your credit card information. If for some reason you cannot pay with card, please contact dmum.infomanagement@umich.edu.
    2. After choosing your Dancer track, you’ll be directed to a page that asks you to fill out some details about yourself and your involvement in DMUM. We know that these questions can seem a bit tedious, but please fill out the questionnaire completely to the best of your ability!
    3. When asked to set a fundraising goal, the $300 goal is a great start, but don’t be afraid to set the bar even higher - your friends, family, and fellow DMUM community will be there to help you reach your goal!
    4. Continue following the registration prompts.

How to edit your DonorDrive fundraising page

Now that you’re registered for VictorThon 2018 and are ready to start accepting donations, you need to make sure that your DonorDrive page is personalized and eye-catching to make potential donors more likely to donate to you!

  1. Go to http://dmum.donordrive.com/
  2. Click on the blue “Events” tab on the homepage, right above where it says “Welcome to Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan!”
  3. Scroll down to where there is a box on the left side of the page with the title “Account Login.” Fill out your email address and password, and click Login.
  4. Click on the green “Edit Your Page” link on the right side of the page to edit any of the following information:
    1. Your fundraising goal - don’t forget, your goal should be $300 but don’t be afraid to set the bar even higher!
    2. Your page alias - make your page easier to share by creating a custom web address.
    3. Your fundraising image - upload a picture of yourself so friends and family know that it’s your fundraising page - even better, upload a picture of you at a DMUM event or with your DMUM family!
    4. Personal Message - personalize the template provided to let potential donors know what DMUM is, tell your own DMUM story, and invite friends and family to VictorThon!
  5. Don’t forget to click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page when you’re done editing - now you’re ready to share your profile and start collecting donations!

How to post your DonorDrive page to social media

  1. Go to http://dmum.donordrive.com/
  2. Click on the blue “Events” tab on the homepage, right above where it says “Welcome to Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan!”
  3. If you scroll down, there is a box on the left side of the page with the title “Account Login.” Fill out your email address and password, and click Login.
  4. Scroll down about halfway down the page to where it says “Ask Friends to Donate.”
  5. Click the link of the social media platform you want to post to, personalize it, and post it!  Don't forget to tag DMUM or use the hashtags #DMUM18 and #FTK!
