The Marathon
Event Description:
It's finally here! The 2012 Dance Marathon will take place from 10:00am on Saturday, March 24th to 4:00pm on Sunday March 25th. Come out to witness the grand finale of our year as an organization, and show support for your team who will be standing for 30 consecutive hours to show their dedication to our amazing cause!
The Marathon will include tons of student performances, family speakers, and fun activities, all designed to keep our dancers having fun and feeling inspired. Families will be able to enjoy a meal with their teams on Saturday night, and are participating in a potluck breakfast on Sunday morning. If you would like to bring a dish and have not yet been contacted by your Family Relations representative please do so!
The Marathon takes place in the Indoor Track and Field Building off of South State St. in Ann Arbor. The building shares the same drive as the Wilpon Baseball and Softball Complex (located at 1114 S. State St. Ann Arbor, MI 48104). For a map of the building's location, click here

PJ Party took place on Sunday, December 4th 2011. Teams and families had a great time getting together to participate in fun games and activities while sporting some adorable pajamas! Our final family event of the year was a Dance Marathon tradition: Charity Ball. Charity Ball took place in the Michigan Union Ballroom and was a family favorite as always. Hundreds of Dancers and Families filled the Ballroom dressed in their finest attire as we
celebrated this year’s Willy Wonka theme, which included giant candy decorations and a showing of the film. Performances included acapella group The Friars and the revealing of our theme hours for the 2012 Dance Marathon! Everyone had a great time dancing the night away as we began to countdown the days until the Marathon!
