The Spirit Journey refers to the year long spirit competition
The winner of the Spirit Journey is won by accumulating SPIRIT POINTS throughout the year. These points can be earned through attendance, dressing up, and winning games.
The winner of the Spirit Journey will be announced before the Marathon and will get to lead all the Dancers into the Marathon and another awesome prize!

The Spirit Sprint takes place at the Marathon
NO POINTS from the Spirit Journey roll over to the Spirit Sprint (ie: winning the Spirit Journey does not give any team an advantage)
The Sprit Sprint is won by earning and banking MARATHON BUCKS throughout the Marathon
MARATHON BUCKS are won through various games and activities at the Marathon
SPECIAL NOTE: Marathon Bucks can be earned throughout the year through playing mini-games at Family Events. These bucks will roll over to the Marathon and give these teams a leg up.
