I joined DMUM after learning about it through friends and virtual Festifall. Even virtually, I could see how excited everyone was about the org which really made me want to get involved. I applied to be a dancer captain and even though I’m only a freshman, everyone was super supportive of me seeking out a leadership role. I’ve already been fortunate enough to attend events to meet the wonderful kids that DMUM works with and I’m really grateful to be welcomed into the community!!
